Web Access

I'm able to access a folder on my NAS via FTP port 21 using FTP software, how can I use a web browser to access? I have added HTTP to the NAS protocols and doesn't work, port 80 only accesses the NAS GUI.

I have tried 8080, 445, 137-139 without success!!

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

    This is with an RN314?

Try http://nas-ip-address/sharename (using the real NAS IP address and a real sharename that has http enabled).  Keep in mind that the sharename is case-sensitive with http.

I don't recommend enabling this over the internet for any ReadyNAS model, as all are using deprecated versions of linux.  If you decide to use it anyway, then make sure only https can be used for the admin interface.

FWIW, I don't recommend using unencrypted FTP either, you should instead use FTPS.
