What ReadyNAS to choose

Hi,

I am a first time ReadyNas buyer and have looked around at different NAS devices recently and feel that the Netgear ReadyNAS will be the best suited to my requirements - hopefully. Please could you advise me as to whether my suggested solution would work?

I am planning on purchasing a ReadyNAS 1500 Rackmount NAS and a ReadyNAS NV+ desktop version. My plan is to have image files, SQL databases, Exchange Database, and Server Image files backed up to the ReadyNAS 1500 in my office and then replicated, over internet, to the ReadyNAS NV+ which will be housed in my home. I will be using backup software which is already installed on my current backup server (BackupAssist) and will point all the backup files to the ReadyNAS 1500.

Is all this possible? Do you see any issues with what i am suggesting?

Look forward to your comments/suggestions.
Anthony

Personally I'd go with the Pro 4 for the backup NAS not the NV+.
