Will Not Buy a ReadyNAS ever again
It's not because of the hardware. The hardware in its basic form works. It's because of the COMPLETE LACK OF APPS. If all I wanted was a cage for drives, I'd buy an ESATA frame. I bought a Ready...

With OS6 these two have been changed to be more how you would like them.
You can view your shares and grab a single file.
There is still a shares section, but under this there is the option to create Folders and (iSCSI) LUNs.
