Won't power on (ReadyNAS Duo v1)

Hi All -

I just realized my Ready NAS Duo (RND2110 - 100NAS) purchased in May 2011 is dead. How can I determine what the issues is if it's DOA? I see it has a external power pack (Netgear Switching Adapter; 332-10192-01) or is there a more traditional power supply inside the unit?

Obviously, it's old. I don't know it it's worth repairing or replacing? Any advice to point me in the proper direction would be appreciated.

Tx-

regrettably the warranty expired last month.

You can get the data off by connecting disk 1 to a Windows pc and using Linux reader. You can find a replacement brick fairly easily, or just upgrade (perhaps to an rn102). The rn102 is about 3x faster than the duo v1.
