#19436397 5.3.6 ARM-Unable to use ReadyNAS remote
Hi Duo V2 Since upgrading to 5.3.6 users have been unable to access log into the NAS via ReadyNAS remote. I get "ReadyNAS Remote Online - Andy Asker" but it never actually connects to the serve...

Some more points to add to my original post....
-Although I got it working with Port Forwarding, it yet again fell over within an hour. I then carried out yet another reboot after changing the port to 6050 after which it was once again fine. 12 hours later it is still working, taking around 1 minute to log into the server using readynas remote and eventually display the new remote pop-up "Netgear is online".
-I did suffer problems with the new firmware embedded menu not displaying correctly at one point - the section opened with the Flash icon rotating but nothing appeared. Fixed with reboot. I estimate 3 reboots are needed for 5.3.6, all with the volume scan enabled.
-Rozel - Don't worry about port forwarding. It is quick to set up and a lot easier than I thought it would be.
-System/Settings for me are in this order:
Security
Remote Access
Readydrop
Power
Update
Backup
Alerts
Performance
-Would recommend switching on notifications in the Remote software , properties-advanced.
-I can't get ReadyDrop to work , I like the concept and want it to work. with a newly created Readynas user I get error "ReadyDrop is no available" [sic] Aside from the annoying grammar (how on earth did that get past testing!?) there is no visible evidence that my ReadyDrop folder is syncing with my ReadyNAS and even it was , I wouldn't be able to prove it! Where does it sit on the Readynas and how do I review the supposedly Sync'd content? I do see a newly created netgear folder in my Readydrop folder , have no idea what it's for but assume it is Readydrop related.
