Thanks mdgm - I decided to download the firmware and re-install. This did the trick as I can see all the functionality now in Dashboard/Configuration/System/Settings :) I have entered all the relevant email addresses - although could not see where and if they needed to be "allowed". I searched for them and they are now all in the Access List. I searched for two others, which have not sorted themselves out yet, and invited them to be a User - so I have 5 users entered in this List with their respective Usernames and 2 others to whom I have sent an invitation. All these Usernames appear in the Security section of my ReadyNas exactly the same -So far so good.
OK I cannot still login using the PC app on my desktop. It allows me to login to ReadyNas Remote but the server isn't coming online. I daresay that is the problem using the app on my mobile (android) too as that refuses to connect to my shares.
So what now please?
