#19436397 5.3.6 ARM-Unable to use ReadyNAS remote
Hi Duo V2 Since upgrading to 5.3.6 users have been unable to access log into the NAS via ReadyNAS remote. I get "ReadyNAS Remote Online - Andy Asker" but it never actually connects to the serve...

Right - nothing seems to work regarding my non-connection issues so I am ready to do an OS Reinstall to just see if this corrects the problem.
I have just tried to undertake this procedure but am again having difficulty. The Manual for my Duo V2 says: -
To access the boot menu:
Power off your unit.
Using a straightened paper clip, press and hold the Reset button.
Press the Power button to power on the unit.
Continue to press the Reset button until the Power button LED, USB and backup status LED, disk 1 LED, and disk 2 LED are lit
Press the Backup button to scroll through the boot mode options.
The unit shows the boot mode options using the LEDs, as described in the following table:
Boot Mode Status Indicator
Normal Power LED is lit.
Factory default Disk 1 LED is lit.
OS reinstall Disk 2 LED is lit.
Tech support USB and backup status LED is lit.
Skip volume check Power LED and disk 1 LED are lit.
Memory test Power LED and disk 2 LED are lit.
Disk test Power LED and USB and backup status LED are lit.
Press and release Reset button to confirm your boot menu selection.
The system boots in the selected boot mode.
HOWEVER when I press the backup button to scroll through the options at that stage in the process, the lights turn off and pressing again and again doesn't bring any light on, nevermind allowing me to scroll through the various light patterns. Of course I am still pressing the reset button but the 4 lights (which are on at this stage) turn off the second I press the backup button and I can't move forward in the process.
Is this another issue that 5.3.6 has introduced? I have undertaken a similar procedure before like this to return the unit to Factory default and had no difficulty then but that was just after I bought the unit and was running 5.3.5.
Help please
