#19436397 5.3.6 ARM-Unable to use ReadyNAS remote
Hi Duo V2 Since upgrading to 5.3.6 users have been unable to access log into the NAS via ReadyNAS remote. I get "ReadyNAS Remote Online - Andy Asker" but it never actually connects to the serve...

Right then apart from not retaining my static IP address the OS reinstall was successful, retaining all my other settings :)
Furthermore I can now connect via my DeskTop, via the Remote Client app, which probably means all my other users are able to connect :)
So to recap the learns here were: -
1. If it aint broke, don't fix it. The upgrade to 5.3.6 was a nightmare and would urge other users to steer clear. Who knows if the OS Reinstall would have fixed everything for me, whilst on 5.3.6 - I am not going to try and an OS reinstall should NOT have been necessary anyhow. I think the upgrade was for Mac Users anyway - they have a lot to answer for lol
2. Upgrading the ReadyNas client software and the Android client also proved a nightmare and so on and so on.
3. Given the horrendous original configuration of this unit I endured, the hopeless disk spin down and power off options with a load of other issues - if I had known that I would be put through all of this then I would NOT have bought this thing :(
Thanks to those people who had an input to this nightmare, it was most appreciated.
