#19436397 5.3.6 ARM-Unable to use ReadyNAS remote
Hi Duo V2 Since upgrading to 5.3.6 users have been unable to access log into the NAS via ReadyNAS remote. I get "ReadyNAS Remote Online - Andy Asker" but it never actually connects to the serve...

I am with you regarding your frustration here :(
I assume you have setup your Duo V2 in so much as you can see it and its shares within your home network?
If not then that is the first place to start - I gave mine a static IP address to make things simpler when logging in from your browser. Radiator only really tells you what is happening during the boot process - when radiator sees your Duo, then Setup will appear in bold (rather than greyed out) and pressing this should then open your browser revealing the Duo's Dashboard, from which you then can configure your Duo.
Once you have configured it, switch on Remote. Then you need to install the ReadyNas Remote client software on your devices. Lets say you want to be able to login via your spare laptop. Install the correct software and upon it's first useage you will need to create an account. Setup a share within the security section of dashboard enabling FTP and HTTP DNLA etc etc and give it the same credentials. You must then "Allow" the user from within the Duo's Remote section and then on your laptop login with these credentials (the same as on the Duo and for the account you created) and you should then be able to see a ReadyNas Shares folder within My Computer, Windows Explorer or whatever. This will reveal an icon named the same as your Duo then double-clicking that will get you into your shares.
Persevere my friend and you will get there - one day NetGear will produce an easy to setup device but I'm afraid it will not be in my life time :( That said they make very durable products which last and last and once setup, should prove work-horses.
Good luck :)
