Remember to remove your old copy of the script before getting the new one. You can do that via the GreaseMonkey Manager

- Now works with Safari and other non Firefox browsers that support user scripts. Just set the location of your readynas in the script file(var RNBTserver = "";).
- UI improvments
Updated 6-13-08
- Now supports Firefox 3.
- Added a style for when the manager is trying to connect to the torrent server.
Updated
- I have changed the way torrents are processed, the script will no longer direct you to the Readynas BT Manager, instead it uses ajax to just send the command.
- I have also added a download monitor to the script. At the bottom of any webpage that you visit a little status bar will be added showing you the status of your downloads. When you mouseover the item it will expand to show the details and give you the ability to start/stop and remove the torrent.

- VatoeAspirantI just came across this - fantastic stuff! I couldn't find the little monitor for a while there, then I realised that I had changed tabs and that the monitor disappears if you do - which is unlike the other download monitor (download status bar).
Keep up the excellent work. - LaxeAspirantAm I the onyl one who can't get this to track my bt client? I'm using the latest full release of Transmission and whilst the script is active on GM and the correct Transmission address is entered it doesn't track my downloads nor add anew new torrents. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm guessing that it will only work with the built in torrent client, not a Transmission 'add on'. - LaxeAspirantOh I see! Is there some sort of trick to getting it to remain stable without stalling etc? Cos that's the main reason why I swapped over to Transmission.

This was never designed for Transmission, only the default torrent manager. - sorjaiAspiranthehe it would be nice if this was added for Transmission as well :)
- Xan1AspirantThis greasemonkey script causes a lot of additional load on firefox due to the unefficient way it checks for torrent files.
Confirmed on two different computers with greasemonkey and this script.
Try scrolling the site with and without this script active and you'll notice stutter. - dbott67Guide

I can't say that I've ever noticed this behaviour in the past, nor do I notice it now. Can you give a specific example of what you're doing (page/site, any torrents downloading, etc.)?
I've got an old laptop (3.5 yrs old, Core Duo @ 1.8 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP Pro) running Firefox 3.5 and the latest version of scep's script. For example, I can go to thepiratebay and download a torrent (only the legal stuff, though!) and then proceed to scroll up and down on various pages with lots of torrents (like the Top 100 pages) and there's no lag/stutter.
I've got 12 tabs open to various sites, current firefox CPU usage when not scrolling fluctuates from 3 - 8% memory footprint is 210 MB. When I scroll up & down very quickly on the page full of torrents, the CPU jumps up to 25-30% and memory usage to 211 MB.
The BT status bar is visible on the bottom.
What is happening in your case? - MeG1AspirantJust what I had been looking for! Perfect thanks.
- ramccannAspirantThanks mate. One question though. How/where are the Torrents sortable? Where do I right click? Cheers
