Cannot copy files from Transmission > Downloads folder
Since this morning, I cannot copy anything from the Transmission > Downloads folder to my Mac without the Finder giving me a SBBoD and then the share disconnecting with one of the following errors:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “document-x.pdf” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)
The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).
My RN102 is only about a month or so old and I have not really dared to mess with any settings which I am absolutely certain about and I have not changed anything to do with Transmission since I first installed it apart from switch the Speed Limit off and on as mentioned in another thread. The only thing I have done differently is add a torrent file using Safari on my iPad but some of the files which won't copy were added weeks ago.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt has just entered it. Considering the severity of the issue hopefully it won't take long.
- LeofwineTutorThis has happened again only now I can't copy anything from the Transmission Downloads folder without getting the -36 error.
I have rebooted everything and reset the Transmission File Access Permissions. As previously, if I try to connect to the Transmission share via AFP, the Finder crashes requiring me to reboot my Mac.
I installed Yosemite 10.10.3 a few days ago but I am fairly certain that I have successfully copied a file since then. - LeofwineTutorI just bit the bullet and uninstalled Transmission, destroyed the Transmission share and then re-installed it.
I can only hope that this will solve the problem in the long run. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHopefully what you did has fixed it. Let me know if you still have issues with it.
- LeofwineTutorNo, unfortunately, it didn't work.
I will reply to your PM.
