Use Firefox, and set security.tls.version.min to 1 (browse to about:config and search for the setting).
After set up, you can also enable ssh and make a mod to one of the config files that lets you connect with http (unencrypted, but works with any browser).

Like Stephen says, it's a V1. I also have a V1. Instead of "192.168.1.117/shares", use http://<ipaddress>/admin. Post back if you get an SSL error.
4.1.16 is the latest (last) firmware.
Max drive size is 2 TB. Depending on how you plan to use it, you could mirror the pair for 2TB storage, or stripe the pair for 4TB storage but no redundancy.
I use mine to backup another NAS (different brand) so I have the drives mirrored.
