Mail invetnation to NAS needs attention from Netgear.

Hi

Was trying to send my daughter an mail inventation to my NAS but here mail contains 2 - and when entering here address i get a red warning and it tells me to enter a valid mail address.

I think this must be fixed because we need to be able to use what ever mailaddress we want.

    Hello,

I am not 100% sure, do you mean the email address contains the hyphen "-" twice? If so I could not reproduce the problem.

Could you please give an example that is similar to your daughter's email address containing the problematic characters?

    Bye,

    Eskender

Use the pm facility ("messages" at the top right).

    Hello,

You are correct. ReadyCLOUD does not allow email-addresses that contain a “--“ which is to be fair a rather unusual yet usable address.

I can offer you a work-around for creating a ReadyCLOUD account with that email-address but I have not found a way to send an invitation to that account.

I will forward this issue and keep you posted.

    Bye,

    Eskender
