Manage Remote Gives Blank Screen
Hi, I also seem to be experiencing the same issue (blank/black screen).
I have installed and registered ReadyNAS remote on my Win7 home PC and am trying to access my NAS on my Samsung S3 Android (JellyBean) smartphone.
I've successfully installed the Android app and appear to have logged in, however, when I select "remote" I am faced with a completely blank screen. I've ensured that my there are files in the "ReadyNAS Shares" which appeared but these do not appear on my phone. My phone is connected to my local wifi so connectivity /network speeds isn't the issue.
Any suggestions? Thanks Ricky

What version of RAIDiator on the NAS and what version of Remote? - RickyHAspiranthi, sorry about the revive.. 5:15 am and I'm getting a little tired :)
RAIDiator 4.1.8 [1.00a043]
Remote: ReadyNAS (Sparc) Version: 1.0.9.78
and I'm running RedayNas Remote (Andriod) 1.2 on my phone
ta - RickyHAspirantHi,
This morning I received an email from my NAS advising me that a RAIDiator update is available. I've installed it and now the RN remote on my andriod device appears to be progressing..a little!
Now, once I log in I don't just have a blank screen when I view 'remote' but I am offered an ReadyNAS icon which when I hit, I get advised "Could not establish FTP connection to ReadyNAS, please check if you have FTP enabled". If I press and hold the icon, I am offered a sub-menu which allows me to choose either "browse with CIFS" or "browse with FTP". I have checked FTP and this then offers me a username and password. I have tied both my standard 'user' username and password as well as my ReadyNAS Remote ones, in both instances I get the same denial message.
I seem to be moving closer but still not quite there.
ta - RickyHAspirantRight, I just tried using CIFS and this time I got a note saying "getting shares" which appeared positive, however, after a few moments, I was presented with a blue folder icon followed by to dots. I press this and I am back to the ReadyNAS icon....which I press and am returned to the folder icon....this repeats indefinitely.
On my PC, I have a 'new' folder called "ReadyNAS Shares" in to which I can placed a small image file but this is not available to me on the andriod device.
Anything else you need? ta - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe FTP account you'd need to enter would be a standard NAS one. Of course if you enabled anonymous access for FTP you'd use that.
Do note you should use a separate ReadyNAS Remote account for your PC and for your Android client. You can only use a ReadyNAS Remote account on one device at a time. - RickyHAspirantI don't actually use ready as remote on my pc as the drive is mapped as a network drive. I only installed it to register. I'm still unable to connect from my Android phone using the registered FTP account. Can't see where I'm going wrong :-(
