Nas Monitor uninstall problem
Hi!
Yesterday I installed PHP5 5.2.17 (by WhoCares?) on my Ultra2, and also the Nas Monitor package (by super-poussin). I played with Nas Monitor a little, and after that I decided to remove the package (I installed it only because of curiosity, but not really needed). The problem is that I cannot remove the package. If I click on "Remove" button under Add-ons/installed the window comes up with the question if I really want to delete the package, and if I want to preserve the configuration files or not. But after that nothing happens. The package is still there listed as installed.
My system quite fresh (using 4.2.17), not messed up, so I don't understand what could be the problem.
Do you have any advice how to proceed now?
Thank you for your help!

- super_poussinVirtuosocan you try with another browser ?
- dudeegAspirantHi!
I've just tried with IE. Same behaviour. Please note that the Nas-monitor is disabled on the "Installed" page when I'm trying to remove it.
As I described, the two windows with the questions are coming up, but nothing happens after I click on the buttons. - chfAspirantSame problem here. Did you manage to remove it yet?
- dudeegAspirantNo, I couldn't. I gave it up for now.
- KishAspirantGlad to see that I'm not alone.
- dudeegAspirantsuper-poussin: can you comment something on this? It seems my issue is not unique
Thanks! - stereovoAspirantsame problem on Pro 4 / 4.2.17
- digitelpersonaAspirantHi, I'm having the same exact problem. Any idea how to fix this? I read things about going into root and manually deleting files, but I honestly have no idea what that means.

+1 - WhoCares_MentorWell, the basic problem is that the file NASMONITOR.js has two tiny little errors in it which effectively prevent the remove function from being called.
If you have SSH access to your ReadyNAS, you can remove the add-on by calling/bin/bash /etc/frontview/addons/NASMONITOR.remove
on the command line.
