No project listing from gitweb - addon:git 1.7.1

git 1.7.1
Model: ReadyNAS Pro 6 [X-RAID2]
Serial: 2H0314RM00229
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.19
Memory: 8192 MB [6-6-6-18 DD
Git is installed properly and tested - created several repositories on the directory /opt/git/ - however when accessing https://nas1/gitweb/gitweb.cgi - no projects/data are listed.
From the local nas/system I execute the cgi script /etc/frontview/addons/ui/GITSCM/gitweb/gitweb.cgi - all the project/repository information is outputted correctly - its like Apache config isn't allow the execution, but I did check permissions/file setting and the Apache Addon file and it looks correct.
Anyone else having issues with gitweb?

- Same issue for me. Did you ever fix it?
- OK so I worked it out. It was a permission issue for me:-
Essentially:-
chmod -R 770 /c/.gitscm
chown -R youruser:admin /c/.gitscm
As apache runs as admin user it needs permissions to the repositories folder to read it.
You can adjust it accordingly but as long as admin gets access somehow thats all that seems to matter.
