Running Win10pro.
the newtork shows the shares on my NV+, and I can login to the admin page using Firefox and the TCPIP address but RAIDar looks for an attached device then closes.

Problem solved!
I won't detail all the steps it took me to get there, but apparently RAIDar 6-3 needs Java.
Once I updated my Java to the latest version (with all sorts of security warnings) RAIDar 6-3 works.

Hi ajwh1
Welcome to the Community!
Have you tried reinstalling RAIDar or have you tried using it on a different computer? error 0x80004002 seems to be an OS issue with regards with registry and the softwares installed.
Also try to disable any security software first before installing RAIDar.

Marc,
RAIDar 6.3 has been installed on this system since August 2017.....
I know the latest Win10 update made some changes to networking (think Homegroups were removed)

The NAS doesn't care about homegroups. Windows 10 is deprecating SMB 1.0/CIFs; so you might need to manually reinstall that via "turn windows features on or off" to access your shares. That won't affect the web access though.
What browser are you using to access the NV+? Chrome, Firefox, and IE should work; I don't know about Edge.
Also, what firmware is running on the NV+? If it's very old, you might need compatibility mode in IE.

AHA - a bit more info: If I try to log in using EDGE I get a warning:
This site is not secure
This might mean that someone’s trying to trick you or steal any information that you send to the server. You should close this site immediately.
Go to your Start page Your PC doesn’t trust this website’s security certificate.
Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA
Would RAIDar check a security certificate?
I remember that I had to add an exception to FFx because the certificate was insecure.
