RAIDAR Unable to locate my READYNAS DUO

I am unable to connect via RAIDAR to my ReadyNAS device but I am able to save and retreive files stored on the device.

Life support and background task lights are blinking and I have supplied a picture of the description I get.

Not sure how I resolve this any help would be much appreciated.

  • if you know the IP address of the NAS, you don't need RAIDar.  Just browse to https://<ip of your NAS>/admin.

If that's what's failing, check your browser security settings.  If set too high, it won't give you the option of accepting the NAS's self-signed certificate, it'll just fail to connect.  There may be some browsers that no longer have that option (I don't keep track), in which case you need to try another.
