ReadyNas 102 update to 6.10.5 admin login loop
After running the update to 6.10.5 When I try to login to the admin page, it logs in for 2 seconds and then says "connecting to the ReadyNAS admin page" and then prompts me for username and password again. I have multiple computers, HTTP vs HTTPS, name vs IP, multiple different browsers, and incognito.
Nas is connected to LAN
RAIDar sees the NAS and drives as healthy.
SSH asks for Username and password but closes after I enter the admin password
Thank You for any help

Please search the forum, as there are already multiple threads on the subject of the login loop. Netgear is working on it, but there are some possible work-arounds posted that basically get you back to 6.10.4. BTW, Google is usually far better at finding things in the forum than it's own pitiful search function.
As for SSH, it sounds like you don't have it enabled. Unfortunately, you can't change that until the GUI login loop is fixed.

I had the same problem and Netgear installed a 10.5 hot fix that has fixed the problem. Since upgrading to 6.10.5 I have had problems that have resulted in me regulary rebooting two units that I have. The issues seem to be linked to running backups that do not complete which locks out the unit. The backups ran fine with 6.10.4

This seems rather odd, and I'd have expected to see an issue like this posted here already.
Can you describe the backups that are failing (protocol, push or pull, etc)?

The problem is not consistent.
I have two units (102's) both with local USB backup.
The backup did run daily until I changed the schedule. I changed the backup schedule just to ensure easy access to the files for day-today use.
When I did run the daily backup, once, or twice a week I could not access the admin screen and the units would not shut down on the power schedule. Share access was also locked out so that I could not access files from PC’s etc.
Sometimes the units would not do an orderly shutdown using the front power button and had to be powered down by removing the power supply. Looking at the logs it appeared that the backup had stalled on specific file/files. There didn’t appear to be a pattern relating to the problem.
When I re-ran the backup on the same file/files, it completed without issue and the unit did not hang.
The next time it failed it would be on different file/files.
The units have different manufacturer USB drives attached.
