ReadyNAS 10400 Stuck at Password Recovery

Ohmarr: In addition to resetting the password and network configuration, the OS reinstall will also turn off volume quota. You can re-enable that on the volume settings wheel.
It sounds to me like you saved the old password in your browser and it's sending that to the NAS. Of course, it's wrong, so the NAS thinks you need to reset it.
When I browse to the NAS shares I am being prompted for a password, it is not accepting my password or the defaults after I have run an OS re-install from the boot menu.

Will this re-install the OS?
I have tried incongnito and in-private on all browsers, just getting the password recovery screen every time.
Have connected the NAS direct to my PC so there is nothing else trying to access it.
Anyone have any other ideas on how I can recover access?
Anyone know why the OS reinstall is not working? Runs through it but always dumps me back at the Password Recovery screen with my security question so clearly has not re-installed the OS.
