Photos are not cloned if you imported from some other directory in \\<nasip>\media\Pictures\.

What version of the Photos add-on do you have ? If its not 1.5, Can you download the latest photos addon from http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=94
And perform a local update and see if that helps?
