Readynas remote for Android not accessing shares

I have my ReadyNASDuo v2 with RAIdIator 5.3.11 which has remote access standard, set up for a user with ftp protocol for a share (xyz). The same user is also setup for remote access. On my android i have installed ReadyNAS Remote 1.2.2 and it works up to reaching the shares. Trying to open a share results in an error: Can not connect to share (xyz) unable to login.

I have tried many things to get it working but no go. Th Nas is behind a Ziggo firewall with portforwarding for ftp port 21. The strange thing is that my Windows 10 machine is working flawless.

Any help would be appreciated.

Loekie.

  • You also need to forward passive ports.  If the router is using NAS, then masquerading might also be needed.

      Thx Stephen,

it works now after cleaning up he root directory. There must be a max number of items this tool accepts.

Is there a possibility to preview (would be handy for photo's)

      Thnx again for your help.
