ReadyNas Remote Windows software download?
Hello,
I am having "vintage" ReadyNAS Ultra 4.
Successfully updated to RAIDiator 4.2.27 (x86). Installed ReadyNAS remote Add-on v1.0.9.78 in Running state.
Managed to create X-RAID2 with 4 disk. So far so good.
Now I am trying to access it from remote location with my Windows 7 machine. Created username/password in remote.readynas.com.
Found a iPhone app that connects to the NAS. But when I try to find Windows client software there is no luck.
Official download client is: ReadyNAS Remote for Windows (v1.6.5.23)
Link is: https://readycloud.netgear.com/install/ReadyNASRemoteSetup_w7_v1.6.5.23.exe but now is redirected to ReadyCloud page.
Please, tell me where to find this software.
Tried to find it archived in Netgear FTP and Google but no luck :(

- NhellieVirtuosoMight have been removed due to the latest update. better call support and see if they still have a copy.
- chirpaLuminaryAt least v1.6.5.20 is available here: viewtopic.php?p=438912#p438912
- ttsankovTutorThank you very much chirpa - this is priceless. Tried version 1.6.5.20 and it is working!
There is new network adapter installed and I have access. Your links should be pined for the legacy users.
I will try to contact support but my location is somewhere in East Europe and the device is not brand new so should they care? - NhellieVirtuosoThey can check your device if still under warranty, and you are not asking for support anyway. Just tell them that you need to get the older version of the readynas remote, they should be able to help you on that. :)
- ttsankovTutorNetgear Support was useful for me. Here are the links for the latest version.
I am putting them here in case anyone else need to use it:In addition if you are using an older NAS model and for clients searching for the latest version of ReadyNAS Remote Desktop Client software for Windows and MAC before the ReadyCloud Client came out, here are the links below:
Windows: http://www.readynas.com/contributed/mdgm/files/remote/ReadyNASRemoteSetup_w7_v1.6.5.23.exe
Mac: http://www.readynas.com/contributed/mdgm/files/remote/ReadyNASRemote_v1.2.15.pkg
Thanks again for choosing NETGEAR. Have a great day!
