ReadyNASRemoteUpgrade.exe disables network adapter

I have the same issue also.
I tried the suggested workaround,
but then I get the leafnetworks login and my network starts working again,
but the ReadyNas Remote does not do anything at all.
When I click on the icon it only asks if I want to run this program and then it does nothing.
