I got a ReadyNAS Duo for my business to share files. Massive failure on that part. Nightmare to set up as I am not a network engineer, the telephone support is crap and then I find that the recommended ReadyNAS Remote software disables the internet connection on most computers when they are restarted. The only answer appears to be a system restore. I am running the very latest version of the software and when installed I can access my ReadyNAS as I want but when I restart the computer I am left with no connection. Tried the suggestion of installing the other software which just screws everything up and I cannot access anything. This is happening on three out of four computers at present so I dare not get anyone else to install it. Very very poor. I had a Netgear router at home which was brilliant but I have cancelled any further purchase of Netgear products based on what I have experienced and what I have read here. They have not covered themselves in glory and appear to be adapting an attitude of "ignore it and it will go away". If there is anyone that can help or offer advice I would be very grateful or I will have to find a way of returning what is obviously a defective device not fit for purpose.
