I got the Win 7 ReadyNAS Remote client to work! All I needed to do was set a static IP for the NAS. I have a Dlink DIR-655 router. I reserved an IP address for the NAS within the specified DHCP range, then changed the NAS IP to this static IP. The strange thing is that I didn't end up changing the IP.
I entered the exact same network settings (subnet mask/default gateway, etc) as was obtained automatically, but for some reason, changing the setting from "automatically obtain IP" to "static IP" on the ReadyNAS allowed the Remote client to see the NAS.
Still no luck with the Android client on ICS 4.04. I can see my NAS, but I get "could not establish FTP connection". Even though an FTP client on the same Android device can access the ReadyNAS FTP server. Guess I'll give up on the Android client for now..
