ruTorrent Tracker Status Error
Hi all
I just recently bought ruTorrent and the PHP thing the other night and hoping that it would work.
But sadly it is not working for me :S
The program loads and everything but when I load a torrent in the Tracker Status says [Error]
Does anyone know why this is? and what I need to do to fix this?
I've reset the NAS and installed the addon and haven't changed any settings and it's still doing the same thing

- WhoCares_MentorHave you checked that your DNS is set correctly in the Network settings tab of your ReadyNAS?
-Stefan - TieNN89AspirantI don't know much about this stuff
But here it goes
I had a look and the IP address was my routers IP address
So what I did was change the DNS to the one my router was using which is my ISPs DNS but to do that I had to go to the Ethernet settings page and change "Use values from a DHCP server" to "Use values below" for the IPv4 Assignment because I couldn't change the DNS settings
But after entering my ISPs DNS it still didn't work :S - TieNN89AspirantIs there anyway for me to find out what the "Error" is? like a bit more details rather than just Tracker "Error" :S
- TieNN89AspirantI just tried to download something from a public tracker and it works but dead slow compared to on my computer
Pretty disappointed :( Paid for something that isn't working :( - WhoCares_MentorYour ReadyNAS has a CPU that is running at 266MHz, How fast is your computer's CPU? So there's no way for any tool on the NAS to be anywhere near as fast as on your computer. The main advantage of running things directly on the NAS is that you can have them running without affecting performance of your computer and that stuff will already be stored in a central place without you having to move it manually.
