- kugarAspirantFor PSC 2210 I think it should require HPAIO which was already requested : viewtopic.php?f=61&t=37124
- p4v3uAspirantoh, is any way to update/install this packets? What with dependencies?
- kugarAspirantInstalling with the dependencies would break the system. The only one solution is to build HPAIO for the readynas duo.
- p4v3uAspirantbuild?
You mean to do make <packetname> ? Is any instruction anywhere? - kugarAspirantYes, HP provide a setup program that automatically builds the drivers. But it needs cpu power and development packages installed so building it on the nas is not a good idea. The solution is to do it on a development environment, make a package and then install the package on the nas.
These operations requires some skills (using the dev environment, building a package or an add-on) and ... TIME :(
I think I will try to install the dev environment and try to build the drivers but I don't konw how to make an addon. - p4v3uAspirant

No, addon Is not necessary for me :)
COuld you write here all your commands written in ssh console? This will be very helpfull for me :))
Will you install the HP PSC 2210?
best regards - kugarAspirantI have not tried to build the drivers for the moment, I was juste writing how it could be possible.
I talked about building a module because the driver would be built on a dev virtual platform so you have to copy it properly from the dev plateform to the nas.
The printer iI try to make working is a PSC 1210. I know it can work because a did this kind of configuration with this printer with a small linux server a few years ago. - WhoCares_MentorI have made a build of HPAIO that would run on the ReadyNAS. However, as you already stated, it requires some stuff on the ReadyNAS to be replaced with updated versions, namely CUPS and some supporting libraries. I've already requested the changes to get included into an official firmware release but so far no luck ;)
-Stefan - p4v3uAspirantokay,

Do you mean that with a normal ReadyNAS system, it's impossible to build HPAIO without upgrading some part of the system or some libraries ?
Does the libraries upgrade breaks the system or some fonctions ?
