I'm looking for some information how to get these devices working with Sane backend on Readynas Duo.

Don't know. There may be some side effects for network printing via SMB/CIFS but I didn't test that.

there are a lot of people which can test stability, performance... :)) - Upgradin the ReadyNAS software involves a lot of work like installing the needed compilers, compiling the software and not to mention to wait for all that to finish. If time permits I could try to bundle something up that could be installed using SSH access to the ReadyNAS but I'm not sure when I will have some spa time to do that.

Did you had some time to try it ?
Does las version of raidiator (x86, I have a readynas ultra now) still cause problems to build HPAIO ?
