Sickbeard & sabnzbd directories not visible
HI,
I got a ReadyNAS RNDU2000, and installed Sickbeard & Sabnnzbd for automatic updates on my tv shows.
Got it almost working, i need t edit the scripts in /c/.sickbeard/autoProcessTV
Now my point, i dont see the /.sickbeard/ (dont see /.sabnzbd/ also..)
I think it has something to do with directory rights? but no idea how to fix it!
Can you guys help me out? thx!

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe leading "." in the folder name is a convention that the file is hidden. If you are accessing from a windows machine, you need to set your folder options to let you see hidden files.
This is a Windows explorer option, not something you set on the NAS.
Though you should be able to enter "NasName\\c\.sickbeard\autoProcessTV" in the address bar of explorer and see the file contents. Explorer lets you enter the hidden file name in the address bar even if you can't see it. - Nightraider1AspirantI do open up from a windows computer. and in Total Commander Hidden files visible set to YES.
I logon to the nas just by going to network->workgroup->nas . is there going something wrong? there i only see the share's made with frontview
Did'nt see your last line. when i do that i get this:
Not Found
The requested URL /c/.sickbeard/autoProcessTV was not found on this server
URL i use: http://192.168.1.20/c/.sickbeard/autoProcessTV
192.168.1.20 is NAS Ip adress - tiranorAspirantWith Windows, in explorer, type :
\\NasName\c\.sabnzbd\
It should open directly the folder
btw, http access won't work. - Nightraider1AspirantDoes'nt work :(
Faultcode 0x80004005
unspecified error.
When i try from Start -> Run:
No Access to \\NAS\c\.sabnzbd\
Faultcode 0x80070035
I did try with PuTTy with ssh (root) to chmod 777 the dirs, it did but still no access.
Maybe is there a point? i read somewhere it could mess up things to do that with root.. (read to late as allways) - gibxxiGuideA regular NAS user account can't see the /c/ folder or any files other than frontview shares. Neither does it work over FTP for the admin user for me. Although I can see these folders in SmartFTP when root access is enabled and SFTP over SSH is used as the FTP method in SmartFTP using the root account credentials as a login.
[EDIT] Logging into the NAS as admin (assuming you don't save / clear saved credentials) will allow access to .sabnzbd folder, although it won't appear in the list of folders as the "." at the beginning marks it as a hidden folder. You need to log in as admin user, browse to the NAS, where you should be able to see "c" alongside the other shares. Open it up and then add the required path via the address bar: \\NameOfNAS\c\.sabnzbd .
