Has there been any fix or response on this issue? I have the same problem with Subsonic 2.0 running on NVX. When I upgraded the firmware to 4.2.19 the problem went away - for about a week. I have upgraded subsonic (4.6.01), downgraded subsonic, uninstalled subsonic, reinstalled subsonic. Same with ffmpeg 1.1 and 1.2.
Other than Thoto's cron job for checking every 15 minutes to restart (I have not rooted the NAS - that's beyond my technical comfort zone and that addresses the symptom but not the problem), is there a solution to keep Subsonic running?
