Transmission 2.52 Incoming connections
Does anyone know what transmission is doing when no torrents are running, because i noticed in my router logs a lot of incoming connections to Transmission seems a bit strange when no torrents are act...

I'm guessing that's a plausible deniability feature. Everyone with it installed has the same odd sorts of traffic, therefore ISPs can't single you out for being bad. :P
I have noticed the same thing about all torrent clients that I tried - even with DHT/PEX/etc. disabled. If I start up uTorrent, my router connections start climbing into the thousands, even though it's totally empty.
