which HTTP file server, like HFS?

Using the built in NAS authentication might work, but I do sorta hate having to add each of them as actual NAS users, but maybe there is no other way. Also I prefer not to display the Netgear logo page for them to access the files. Does anyone know if its possible to override the html they will see, still having them authenticate?
