Wrong filesizes in AjaXplorer
I installed AjaXplorer on my readnas ultra, but when browsing directories on the NAS all the filesizes are much smaller than they really are.
8,1 Gigabyte converts to 142,01 Mb for instance.
Any suggestions?

- gibxxiGuideThere was an issue with PHP file sizes being reported incorrectly. A recent update fixed this issue by default. The app supports in-app self updating, so installing Super-Poussin's latest add-on will enable automatic updating. Just wondering if the bug might be related to this issue...
- baygaconAspirantI am having a similar issue. After enabling the option 'Real Size Probing', file larger than 4GB are displayed with the correct file size in ajaxplorer however when I copy files from one folder to another, files larger than 4GB stop copying once they reach 4GB in size. Any file smaller than 4GB copies without issue and I am running the latest version 4.2.3 ajaxplorer. I've also tried rebooting the NAS and I still have the same problem.
Any ideas? - dsm1212ApprenticeI see several people here saying that FTP shows the correct filesizes. access.ftp always caps at 2GB for me. I'm running Ajaxplorer 4.2.3 on a PRO. I do see correct sizes using access.fs with the real size probing enabled. I'm using WhoCares PHP version not supers. Could that be it?
thanks
steve - tiranorAspirantaccess.ftp uses php (it's used when accessing remote ftp). The RealSizeProbing is used for the local repositories, to use the system filesizes, and not the php filesize.
- dsm1212ApprenticeOk, thanks. Must not have ever worked. I reinited and when I reinstalled this addon I this saw the problem. Ftp interactively does show the right sizes so I guess php must be the answer. I'm surprised if it is PHP that the ajaxplorer folks haven't coded around it.
steve - tiranorAspirantI did some research, and it seems that the 31/32 bit coding is solved with the recent php versions. Don't know why it doesn't work for us.
For the remote ftp, all files show 2GB, but it is possible to transfer more than 2GB, it's just a filesize display. - gibxxiGuide

Define "Recent"? - tiranorAspirantThe PHP 5 was meant to correct this issue, and now i read that php6 is the one...
- gibxxiGuideThanks for the info Tiranor.
- baygaconAspirantI'm running PHP 5.3.19 and still can't copy files larger than 4GB, even though the size is displayed correctly within Xplorer
