I understand but I do not have frequent huge transfer. I was motivated by the simplification of my setup. Before I had 1 modem, 2 routers, 2 NAS. By installing the readynas, I could remove the 2 old Nas and 1 routers. I have a better setup now and still I am saving 20Watts over old setup. Also the readynas is programmed to power down overnight. cool.
