6.6.1 New AV Limits Real-Time Scan to Files Smaller than 5MB?
Was checking into something else and stumbled across this small admission in the journalctl output...

It's seriously configured not to scan files larger than approx 5MB?

Sadly, a check of journalctl suggests my logs only go back to 24-JAN now, so I can't pull that entry out again. I do see a troubling set of messages from 24-JAN about /tmp being out of space.
