Adding disk to RN102
I have an RN102 that currently has 1 - 4TB drive in it, I want to add a 2nd 4TB drive. I do not want or need the protection of RAID, I want to have the added storage so I end with ~8TB of storage. The...
I would not advise setting up a single volume on more than 1 disk. If you have a volume that spans 2 or more disks then the entire volume is lost if one disk fails.
Setup one volume per disk.
I assume you either don't need, or already have, a backup of the data that is kept on this nas.
