Adding disk to RN102
I have an RN102 that currently has 1 - 4TB drive in it, I want to add a 2nd 4TB drive. I do not want or need the protection of RAID, I want to have the added storage so I end with ~8TB of storage. The...

You need to disable Xraid and this will put you in flexraid mode. Make sure it is set as jbod.
Then when you add the disk ( hot add), it will appear in the list of disks on the volume tab. You should then have the option to select this new disk and create a new volume on this new disk. ( the new volume button is on the right)
Don't delete the existing volume and didn't include the old disk in your new volume.
If you add the disk in Xraid it will automatically use the new disk to create redundancy ( with 2 disks this will be raid 1) and you would not gain any space.
