admin page broken

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

About two weeks ago I randomly was having issues with my share files on my nas being unaccessable. I shrugged it off as I was having router issues at that time as well.

Well a couple days ago it became unaccessable and stayed that way. No access to the share files and after an hour of trying to set them back up I lost access to the admin page as well. Going to it would just give a page could not be found error. I restarted numerous times to no avail. Have tried a bunch of things I found on the forum. I have done an OS reinstall and (as far as I can tell) a USB recovery, and I don't think I had ssh turned on to be able to ssh into it. After the OS install I can get to the admin page, but it now looks like this:

I tried the support, but their warranty apparently only covers hardware (which they checked and it is fine) and I would have to pay $75 US to get the support where they can go in and "try" to fix this issue. I really don't want to pay almost $90 after the exchange rate for them to try to fix this.

I know a complete wipe will fix it, but I have family pictures and movies on here I would prefer to not lose if I can help it. Does anyone know any other way I can either fix the front end or backup my data so that I can then wipe it and get functionality back?

  • My admin page is also broken (http) after uninstalling an application from version 6.2.2

Chat support have escelated it and am waiting for someone to get back to me / remote it.

I'm currently backign up the data to external drives now to do a factory reset.

You'll find your SHARES probably still work, just the HTTP doesn't.

veenarm you are using OS6, whereas Obelilix is using OS4. Your issues are quite different.
  • Yea, sorry, I should have mentioned I'm using a readynas NV+. I definitely don't have any shares available unforunately :(

Your ReadyNAS_Remote.log was 520M and your ReadyDLNA log was 1.2G.

    Should be fixed now
