Administrator and password - Reset?
I haven't used my Readynas Duo for a while and have forgotten what username and password I set.
I have tried to reset the password but neither my email address(es) nor my answer to the security question are recognised.
I know that a factory reset would mean that I would lose my data but this does not matter. Would this delete the administrator name and password as well so I can start again.
Many thanks.I haven't used my Readynas Duo for a while and have forgotten what username and password I set.

- An OS Re-install will reset the admin password but leave data intact. See http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu

If you really want to do a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything), I'd recommend doing that on 4.1.7 or later so that you get 4k sector partition alignment.
