Album Storage

It sounds to me like the FLAC files have embedded metadata tags that include the artist for each song. The DLNA player is organizing the music by artist, which separates the album.
One solution is to re-tag the songs, and set the artist the same in all of them (I often use "Various" for this).
There are several tools than can do this, mp3tag, winamp, and foobar2000 are among them (https://xiph.org/flac/documentation_tasks.html). After retagging, you will probably need to tell the NAS DLNA server to rescan the media files.
