Alternative to Flash in Browser ? for viewing the Frontview menu
An Adobe Flash plugin is required to see the menu in FrontView according to other Forum conversations. This is not stated in users manual.
But according to many security experts (including Swedish Athority for protection of society) this plugin makes the PC very vulnerable.
Thus I have uninstalled Flash in all my browsers ,
My qestion is then :
- Is there not any workaround to get the menu presented (it is not a movie!)
- are there no replacements for Flash plugin.
- May HTML5 help.
I run Win 10 with Edge and Crome browsers. Also trying Firefox , I have RND 2000V2 ReadyNAS
It cannot be so bad that I have to make my PC .open to hackers in order to manage my NAS. Hackers constantly find or design new backdoors in this very sensitive SW-design,

Yeah, especially if the only reason you need Flash is for the really silly animated fan picture that takes up way too much space and serves absolutely no useful purpose.
Thanks Sandshark for your opinion about Flash player, I totally agree with you.
But since my RND 2000 obviously don't present the very essential menu for admin of the unit without Flash, I am still locking for any better solution than to install Flash.
Do you or anyone else in the community have any answer to my problem (see also my initial post) I would be very helped.
I am still hoping for a solution.

The Duo v2 has been discontinued for some years now. The web admin interface for it won’t be redesigned.
