Antivirus stopped updating on my ReadyNAS 316
Hi.
No AV updates unless I manually run a 'freshclam' per https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/ReadyNAS-antivirus-stopped-updating/m-p/1549619#M144395
Followed a number of other similar community suggestions, but can't resolve. I last ran a freshclam 9th Jan, and now hoping a Netgear moderator could take a look via the secure diagnostic mode to assist with resolution.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Stephen, thanks v much for the recommendation - think I'll do that now. Kind regards...

Gosh Netgear are very quiet on this topic at the moment - PM'd those suggested by StephenB more than a week ago now and no response.
Would be very pleased to hear from anyone who's managed to resolve this permanently without setting up CRON jobs and such like so that AV auto-updates as it's supposed to...
As stated earlier I've tried executing 'freshclam' and deleting files mentioned in other posts in an attempt to fix but 'no cigar' I'm afraid. And yet I have another ReadyNAS Pro with latest OS6 and everything works fine... I just can't work out what's different.

Unfortunately, people keep opening new threads about a problem that's already being discussed elsewhere, and it's hard to keep them all updated. See here https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/Antivirus-scanner-definition-file-update-failed/m-p/2051207#M190436%C2%A0 and the rest of that thread.
