Anyone using AWS Glacier for backup?

Now that CrashPlan is discontuning their home service, I am looking for an alternative cloud backup service.&nbsp;AWS Glacier looks perfect, anyone using it?

For me Crashplan for small business would be cheaper -
AWS Glacier charges $4 per TB per Month for storage, and there is an additional charge for retrieval.
Crashplan for Business is $10/month for unlimited storage.

I have about 9-10 TB at the moment, so Glacier would cost me about $40/month.

Right, but my question is, is anyone using it? Or I guess I really want to know how one would use it exactly. Would you just use it through the AWS S3 integration? Or something else?

OK, so I think the S3 cloud integration is just for the standard S3 bucket storage. I don't see a way to specify a glacier vault. tragic.

I am also looking for a new backup solution. &nbsp;I have about a year before Crashplan will kick me off for good, so I have some time to figure it out. &nbsp;In my case I'm only currently backing up about 1TB, with crashplan it was costing me $60/year. &nbsp;The size might go up a bit over time. &nbsp;Crashplan also does versioning, so actually more than 1TB of storage is being used, though I'm not sure how much that is. &nbsp;But around 1TB is being backed up. &nbsp;&nbsp;The new crashplan small business is double the price.&nbsp;Versioning has been handy a few times I was glad I had it, so...I would like to find an alternative service that also does that. &nbsp;Most all of the Mac/PC backup services do. &nbsp;But few of them provide linux support.&nbsp;&nbsp;I think at some point I was trying out&nbsp;linux version of idrive and for some reason I came to the conclusion that crashplan was better, but I don't remember what it was now. &nbsp;Their pricing is not bad, $52/year for 2TB and they have a 5TB plan for $75/year (which can also be shared across multiple computers, so perhaps I can backup a few of my other computers also under the one plan...that is not bad value, I will look into that and probably test it out.&nbsp;Anyone know any other linux-compatible turnkey solutions to use instead of crashplan?&nbsp;unlimited data is probably not a requirement, but affordable storage is.VersioningIdeally a gui to choose files to backup or recoverRuns ok on readynas, including headless GUI perhapsdecent bandwidth

Oh another thing I was doing with crashplan that I can't do with iDrive, I was using crashplan to make a local backup from one machine to another, in addition to backing up to their servers. &nbsp;Crashplan small business doesn't even support that anymore. &nbsp;Maybe I can live without it, not sure...but..it was nice before I ended up using that to backup a lof of stuff that I didn't want to backup over WAN to crashplan...so less mission critical stuff that would suck to lose but not the end of the world. &nbsp;So local backup only. &nbsp;The crashplan software basically worked to do that, with a GUI and worked fine. &nbsp;I tried numerous other open source solutions and none worked as well at crashplan.
