I am considering buying this NAS and am checking through Newegg reviews. I noticed one mentioning an App for Plex and since a lot of Manufacturers Responses encouraged people to come here for help, so here I am. I don't use Plex, instead I use Emby and I just wanted to ask if Emby is supported. I don't use Plex because my file organization seems to disagree with it. Thanks for the help!

There is no app for Emby at the moment. The DLNA options are plex and readydlna. There's also Logitech Media Server, subsonic, and NeroMediaHome. http://apps.readynas.com/pages/?page_id=9
On the Emby forum they send you to this link:

On the bottom you can download the .deb file.
But iam a noob... i dont know wich OS to download... is it the debian? debian7.0 or debian8.0
help would be appreciated on this.

I managed to install Plex, but don´t know wich one is better... some reviews say it is Plex... but it is closed source, and i think maybe kodi library works better with emby wich is cheaper, i don´t know...
