are my disks 4k aligned?
Hi I'm trying to upgrade my ReadyNAS duo to 2TB disks (from 1TB). I read that the sector alignement is important but I'm not too sure... so I enclose the partition.log I believe that they are...
I would add to the recommendation, that at some point in the near future (maybe Santa's list) a 2TB external USB drive to use for regular backups of all your critical and important data. Having all your data on a single device (the Duo is a single device, even if it does have 2 drives) is not a good idea. Remember a ReadyNAS device is not a backup plan.
