---------------
Error description:
Reason for failure:
The backup source does not exist.
Job: 003
Protocol: local
Source: []/
Destination: [my_usr]//c/my_usr/Backups/Backup_folder
---------------
Model: ReadyNAS Ultra 4 [X-RAID2]
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.30

the path is / (on usb), and i tried to do that as well.
During the attempts, i found the issue and it's now resolved. Following is the detail, for KB purpose:
1) Front-View (control panel), in the volumes section (in USB Storage), i could see the attached USB. Which means that is plugged2) Though it wouldn't shown as shared-resource in bakcup-jobs creation page.
3) the USB had files, and worked perfectly on my windows system (filesystem of USB was exFAT).
But it wasn't showing it's file system in the USB-Storage pane in the Front-View.
So i used other usb, formated with FAT filesystem, put some files.
When other USB formated in the right filesystem, that also worked.
This can be a bug, IDK. But the bug can be created by using the mentioned filesystem.
Thanks for reply, vandermerwe.

Did you try entering a path for the source?

There is an ExFAT package for Debian Jessie and Wheezy, so OS6.x users can add it via SSH, but nothing for Lenny or Etch, so OS 4.x and 5.x users are out of luck. I think Netgear should consider making it a part of the OS6.7 release.
