Backup logic?
I believe I operate my NAS' in a suspence mode. I allow them to spin their drives down after 30 minutes of no activity. So, my NAS' spend most of their time 'sleeping' and maybe waiting for me to ask...
Sorry, I wasn't meaning to hammer you - I just wanted to cover both scenarios to make sure you got the info you needed.
