Backup not working
I haven't run my regular backup jobs for a month. In that time I have: Replaced disk #1 after failure & resynced Replaced disk #2 after failure & resynced Upgraded to version 4 of FrontView N...

Thank you, I am in the process of trying to figure out rsync for NAS to NAS...although i guess thats really a workaround?
Anyway, what do I do about backing up other computers.....not the NAS.....where the exact same settings produce a fail on 'test connection' on the sparkling new NV+ and works fine on the old NV...same folder names, path names and syntax, sharing enabled on folders to be backed up, etc. Literally, i have two screens open...NV and NV+. NV works fine; NV+ fails. Note also, the shares are added to the NV+ with "Default access" as they were added on the NV
When I choose to run the backup on the NV+ anyway, it actually attempts it but the backup runs for days with no result (no files copied) on a 320Gb folder with many 5-13 Gb home moviesacross a Gb (GS108 Netgear router) network (again, works fine and quickly on the NV; a mess on NV+) ....e.g., the logs say

Any ideas? I have 24 hours left to return this thing; neither nas to nas nor nas to computer backups work properly; there is apparently a workaround i have to figure out for nas to nas...not off to a great start here.
