brand new nas gets here in a few days wanna get some info
i just bought a ready nas duo V2 after my storcenter by iomega died last week and i have a few qustions for you wonderful people that i was hopping you could answer
the nas i bought will come pre installed with WD RED 2TB drives will these be a good long term drive? the nas will be in a stable environment but as i live in Australia i don't know how it will go in 40c heat :oops: and worse yet i don't know how it will go in the 2c and 3c nights we have. :shock: im just worried it may get too hot or cold and i like to know my hardware is well looked after
my next question (i know god forbid the noob has another question) will my router work with my netgear ready nas duo V2 and what ports will i need to open and forword as well as what ports i will need to open for transmission bit-torrent client and photo sharing and such?
i have two routers at the moment
one on the way
Netgear R7000 Smart WiFi Router Nighthawk AC1900 802.11ac
(i want to hook up the nas to this one as i dont know if it will be found on the other router?)
and the current modem/router combo
TP-LINK TD-W8968 (i need the nas to be found on this one as its the one that connects to the internet and to my two pc's

my new pc (on its way)
Intel Core i5 4440 3.1GHz Quad CPU
4GB RAM
1TB HDD Hard Disk
gigabit networking card
gtx 650 1gb
a samsung i5 laptop
500gb hdd
760m built-in gpu
(currently backed up to a set of 2 x 2tb seagate drives [one dead drive, one working drive])
has full wifi only setup (10mb\s lan adaptor [usb])
one old system that was a torrenting box
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz 6.2
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB 5.5
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 6.9
Gaming graphics 1774 MB Total available graphics memory 6.9

and two media renders one wifi one gigabit lan

1x ps3 phat 500gb ON GIGA BIT LAN (rarely used anymore as blueray drive is broken)
will it support all of these systems and renders? and do you have any advice on how to set it all up?

1x s4 always rendering and uploading & downloading - brycetimothydavAspirantand while im at it if its not to much can i get some screen shots of the transmission gui and the built-in bittorent gui please it would be much thanked
